THAI HERBAL POULTICE BLENDS

Thai Herbal Poultice - Luk Ka Prob (pressing herbal sphere), is a deep heat medicinal muscle treatment that dates back to the 14th century. Using heat in combination with massage therapy can improve tissue elasticity, range of motion, lymphatic flow, and decrease pain.

The poultice offers three therapeutic applications during a session that include soft tissue manipulation with the poultice itself, the therapeutic effects from the organic herbs within the poultice that are absorbed into the skin, and lastly the thermal therapeutic effects from the steamed poultice.

1. Revitalizing: A blend of revitalizing herbs including ginger, lemongrass, & menthol to stimulate circulation and invigorate the senses.

2. Calming: Calm the mind and senses while your body is soothed with a blend of sweet basil, vetiver, and kaffir lime. This holistic treatment improves mental clarity leaving a sense of wholesome well being.

3. Indigo: Experience the ancient healing art of Hmong shamans, used to treat muscular aches and pains. Indigo, the symbol of the Buddha of medicine is said to improve muscle tone and drain away toxins, while Eucalyptus, rosemary, and petit grain essential oils dissolve muscular tension, embracing you in an aura of calm and harmony

I also offer a facial poultice for my gua sha facial fusion services. Which poultice would you enjoy for your next appointment?
